It Matters Ministries is an afterschool program for Children. Our goal is to best support the kids in the various stages of life they are walking through.

THE PURPOSE
​It Matters Ministries exists to help children develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, learn about the Bible, and improve in their academic struggles.
WHY WE DO IT
In Belize, many children grow up facing hardship, neglect, and a lack of educational and emotional support. Some experience abuse, many lack strong parental guidance, and too few have access to quality education. We believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and valued. Most of all, they deserve to know Jesus. We do this because we’ve seen how hope, faith, and consistent care can change a child’s life—and we are committed to being that light in their world.
HELP US, HELP THEM
When you support a child in our program, you're helping them see the endless possibilities they might not recognize on their own. Together, we can empower them to become who God has called them to be and rise above the limitations their culture may place on them. After school is just the beginning of helping these kids become the best versions of themselves. We believe the work we’re doing truly matters—and it’s not only changing the lives of these children, but also impacting their families and the entire community around them.
